We have an opportunity for a BI/Data Integration Partner to join our IT Team.

The BI/Data Integration Partner will support team initiatives that deliver comprehensive data reporting to all levels of Finsbury Food Group. Taking not account the quality, integrity and compliance of data across the sites the incumbent will assist in the implementation of MS Power BI and strategies that will help the organisation to achieve its longer-term ambitions.

The successful candidate will have BI development experience and the ability to develop collaborative relationships with customers and stakeholders. This is s strategic position were the successful candidate will share the responsibility for the processing and management of Master data, therefore a strong technical background in business intelligence, data warehouse or SQL development is required.

The role can be based anywhere in the UK, as the successful candidate will be required on occasion to attend one of our group sites and therefore must be flexible and willing to travel.

This is what you’ll actually do!

As the BI/Data Integration Partner you will support global business analytics strategy by contributing to execution of critical data reporting and analysis activities that align to business needs. Maintain Microsoft Power BI and provide bespoke reporting support for end users. You will carry out successful and error free database programming and deployment of IT development projects, data and reporting. The successful candidate will , maintain database documentation, including standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata). And be actively involved in master data setups, validations and periodic maintenance of information in the master data template.

To be successful in the role you will have experience of the Microsoft SQL Server BI stack, including T-SQL, SSIS, and ETL. You must have demonstrable interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills, practical, output driven hands-on approach to programming, and have the ability to analyse options to best determine solutions independently.

• Hands-on Power BI development role (1-2 years)
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Strong technical background in Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, or SQL Server development.
• Experience of the Microsoft SQL Server BI stack, including T-SQL, SSIS, and ETL.
• Able to summarise and provide clear written communications and materials
• Demonstrable interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Practical, output driven hands-on approach to programming
• Ability to analyse options to best determine solutions independently

Hands-on Experience:

• T-SQL including the use of stored procedures, functions, tables, triggers and views
• Troubleshooting and optimising databases and queries
• Maintaining and programming in Power BI, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
• Power BI Dashboard solutions – developed, maintained and supported the creation of dashboard panels, their data and filters therein
